Francia. Forschungen zur westeuropäischen Geschichte [Francia. Research on Western European History] is a scholarly journal edited by the German Historical Institute in Paris. Up to 2007 (vol. 34) it contained an extensive review section. With the launch of perspectivia.net (an online publication platform of the Max Weber foundation), it has been outsourced and is now published online quaterly as Francia-Recensio, thus meeting the modern demands of rapid and worldwide availability.
Since issue 2017/3 every review has a DOI which applies as a mandatory and permanent citation.
For the implementation of the review journal in the software Open Journal Systems in the autumn of 2017 perspectivia.net cooperates with Universitätsbibliothek Heidelberg. Prior issues of Francia-Recensio are accessible on the publication platform perspectivia.net.
