Opera Historica
Since its establishment in 1991, the journal Opera Historica has played a leading role in research on the early modern period (16th through 19th century) in the Czech Republic. It publishes articles on the intellectual, social, and political history of Europe, but its main focus is the former Habsburg Monarchy. Reviews also pertain to this area of interest. Articles and reviews are written in Czech, German, and English.
In addition to scholarly studies, the journal also publishes presentations of projects and smaller source editions of documents related to the early modern period.
