sehepunkte
sehepunkte [viewpoints] were created as a cooperation between the Historical Seminar of the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich and the Bavarian State Library. They were first published in 2001. The online review journal is committed to the claim of a pluralistic historical science. It is interdisciplinary and ranges freely across historical periods. While German language writings form our key focus, research from the rest of Europe and the wider world is continuously being included. sehepunkte are published twelve times a year always in the middle of a month. Their concept are based on a model of shared and networked scholarship in which expert German and international editors are responsible for reviews covering a diverse range of disciplines mostly in German, English and French. The sehepunkte-editorial team’s work is critically observed by an advisory board of renowned scholars.
